1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with TraceMyData, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or use our service. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to cancel any order where we have reason to believe this condition has not been met.
3. The Service
TraceMyData provides a manual digital footprint audit service. We search publicly accessible websites and sources to find information that appears online about the individual named in the order. Results are compiled into a PDF report and delivered by email within the stated timeframe.
4. Scope of Investigations
TraceMyData investigations rely exclusively on publicly accessible information. We do not:
- Hack or attempt to access accounts
- Bypass authentication systems or login pages
- Access restricted or private databases
- Access private records, messages, or non-public content
All information gathered is sourced exclusively from publicly visible websites, search engines, social media, and open databases.
5. Personal Use Only
You must only request an audit on yourself. By placing an order, you confirm that the subject of the search is youthe person placing and paying for the order. Requesting an audit on another individual without their explicit written consent is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful.
6. Payment
All payments are one-off and non-recurring. Prices are as listed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time; changes will not affect existing orders.
7. Delivery
Standard reports are delivered within 7 working days. Priority Delivery reports are delivered within 3 working days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. In exceptional circumstances, we will contact you if a delay is anticipated.
8. Refund Policy
We operate a no-refund policy except as described below.
Money-Back Guarantee: If we carry out a full search and genuinely find nothing publicly visible about you, we will refund the base plan price in full (£39.99 or £79.99). This is the only circumstance in which a refund will be issued.
The Priority Delivery fee (£50) is non-refundable in all circumstances. Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction with findings that are factually reported, partial use of the service, or change of mind.
9. Limitation of Liability
TraceMyData is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our service or the contents of your report. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order. We make no guarantee that our search will find all information about you that exists online.
10. Accuracy of Results
Our reports reflect what was publicly visible at the time of the search. We cannot guarantee completeness. The internet changes constantly and some information may not be indexed or accessible at the time of your audit.
11. Prohibited Use
You must not use our service to gather information on any third party without their consent, for stalking, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose. Violations will result in immediate cancellation without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
